The pandemic has made remote video communications with Zoom and other tools as ordinary as a touch-tone phone. This course will leverage that experience to describe a new way to connect elders with the younger generation through photographs using storytelling over Zoom. We’ll describe how to use Ponga as the basis of the storytelling so that stories, and the experience of sharing them, can be captured for future generations. We’ll discuss variables that can be adjusted depending on the cognitive and technical abilities of children, parents, and grandparents.
